Luis Abram continues to stand out in Vélez Sarfield while waiting to see if his transfer to a European club is finalized. The Peruvian defender was part of the preseason friendlies against All Boys and contributed with a great assist from his own half for Vélez's victory.
The team led by Gabriel Heinze played two 30-minute matches against All Boys, winning 1-0 in the first one and 2-0 in the second one, where Abram started.
Florián Monzón opened the scoring in the 17th minute of the first half and five minutes later the second goal was scored. Luis Abram led the ball from his own half and made a long pass near the opponent's area, where Chilean player Pablo Galdames controlled and finished with a shot across the goal. In the second half, the Peruvian national team defender would be replaced by Damián Fernández.
In the current Argentinian Superliga, the former Sporting Cristal defender has accumulated 1152 minutes in 13 matches, with Vélez currently in fourth place, two points behind the leader Argentinos Juniors. In the restart of the tournament, Vélez will face Gimnasia La Plata, led by Diego Maradona.
