Barcelona
Barcelona has set its sights on a jewel of European football. It's about Karim Adeyemi, a 17-year-old German forward who plays for FC Liefering, the subsidiary of Red Bull Salzburg that competes in the Second Division of Austria.
It is the first big bet of Patrick Kluivert, director of the Catalan institution's youth academy. The signing of the German footballer, according to the Mundo Deportivo newspaper, has already been approved by the club's technical secretariat.
In Barcelona, they believe that Red Bull Salzburg will ask for around 8 million euros for Adeyemi's transfer, a figure they consider high for a 17-year-old player, but Kluivert would be pressuring to make an effort given the conditions in his game.
Karim Adeyemi, of Nigerian father and Romanian mother, was born in Munich in 2002. He began his career in the youth divisions of Bayern and in 2002 he moved to SpVgg Unterhaching, from where he arrived with a contract until 2021 at Red Bull Salzburg.
