EA Sports decided that the Nintendo Switch version of FIFA 20 should cost the same as its counterparts on other consoles, but with reduced content and really low graphics. This "Legacy Edition" has generated many negative reviews on the web Metacritic.
FIFA 20 for the hybrid console of Nintendo has a score of 0.4/10, one of the lowest figures in the database. The criticism points out that the new installment of the simulator was limited to updating the squads and uniforms.
"The inferior version of this year's FIFA for Switch is not distinguishable from last year's inferior version of FIFA for Switch," explains IGN in its analysis. "It is exactly the common complaint that companies simply recycle sports games every year until they become a parody of themselves."
A total of 219 votes made FIFA 20 for Nintendo Switch have one of the lowest ratings. This would be the result of a common practice on the Internet called "Review Bombing," which consists of giving extremely low ratings to affect the average and show a certain discomfort towards the product.
