Tom Brady had two touchdown passes and ran for another as the New England Patriots defeated the New York Jets 30-23 to remain undefeated in the NFL.
With a record of 6-0, New England is now two games ahead of New York in the AFC East Division after Week 7.
Trailing 20-16, Brady connected with Danny Amendola for an 8-yard touchdown with 5:34 remaining in the game, and with 4:19 on the clock, he found Rob Gronkowski (15 yards) to secure the victory. In the second quarter, the Pats quarterback ran for a one-yard touchdown.
Brady threw for 355 yards with no interceptions, two touchdowns, and completed 34 of 54 passes (63%).
Stephen Gostkowski made three field goals of 38, 46, and 24 yards for New England.
For the Jets, Ryan Fitzpatrick threw touchdowns to Jeremy Kerley (5yd) in the second quarter and to Chris Ivory (9yd) in the third quarter. The visiting QB had 295 yards, no interceptions, and completed 56.4% of his passes (22 of 39).
Nick Folk also made three field goals (20yd, 30yd, and 55yd) for the defeated team.
