Peruvian women's soccer team falls 3-0 to Argentina
The Peruvian women's national soccer team lost 3-0 to Argentina in their debut at the Pan American Games Lima 2019. Erick Osores, the commentator, made a peculiar comment regarding the spectators who went to support the Peruvian team.
The host of Fútbol en América was amazed by the number of spectators who attended the game at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, especially considering all the comments made prior to the women's national team match.
"Impressive turnout, impressive. How many people were there? 10,000 or 12,000?" Erick Osores commented on his Sunday program aired on América Televisión.
Immediately, Oscar del Portal responded to Erick Osores' question and informed that 13,000 people attended the Peru vs. Argentina match.
The Peruvian women's national soccer team will have a rematch against Costa Rica on Wednesday, July 31 at 20:30 in the same venue.
