Peruvian ex-footballer Miguel Rebosio is robbed at gunpoint
Former player of the Peruvian national team, Miguel Rebosio, was the victim of an armed robbery in Callao. The former center-back for Sporting Cristal, Sport Boys, and Real Zaragoza in Spain reported that armed criminals threatened him after entering a barbershop where he was getting a haircut.
"Thank God, nothing happened to me or anyone else who was there, but insecurity is everywhere. The stolen items can be replaced, but life cannot," said the popular 'Conejo' to daily Ojo.

"I never thought I would be in a situation like this, but I believe I handled it correctly: I just said I didn't have anything, they took it from me, I covered myself, and then they covered me. I was just praying that nothing happened to the people who were there (...) Thank God I was alone and not with my children or any family member," he added.
The assault took place on July 16th at around 6:00 PM in the district of La Perla, and according to the police report, the ex-footballer was robbed of 1500 soles.
