National Registry of Identification and Civil Status congratulates Ricardo Gareca and the Peruvian National Team

The National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (Reniec) congratulated the coach of the Peruvian National Team, Ricardo Gareca, and the players for the historic qualification to the final of the Copa America. Through their social media channels, Reniec showed a Peruvian ID with the name and photo of the coach. The autonomous government agency considered the coach a 'true Peruvian' for his effort and dedication towards our national team.

They also dedicated heartfelt words on behalf of the more than 35 million Peruvians who celebrated with joy Peru's victory against Chile and the qualification to the final.

"The 35’156,341 identified Peruvians today say: Thank you! To our national team, and especially to Gareca for allowing us to go this far," is the message dedicated to the coach.

"We are in the final. Our Peruvian national team, under the guidance of Ricardo Gareca, achieved the feat and all Peruvians say 'Thank you'", added the national institution.

It is worth mentioning that they also urged their followers to show their gratitude by sharing the 'ID of a true Peruvian'.
