Goodbyes are always sad. Christian Cueva had his last training session in Sao Paulo and a photo of the Peruvian National Team player, in which he appears to be wiping away tears, has started to go viral.
However, in response to a fan's question from the team, photographer Marcelo D. Sants clarified the doubt about the striking image of the new player for Krasnodar FC in the Russian league and dismissed the notion that 'Aladino' had been crying.

Cueva was in his third season with Sao Paulo, but apparently the relationship with the traditional Brazilian team deteriorated and the decision was made to transfer the player from the Peruvian National Team to European football.
This will be the midfielder's second experience in the old continent, after arriving at Rayo Vallecano in 2013, where he didn't manage to establish himself.
The Peruvian National Team had a decent performance in Russia 2018 and, despite the missed penalty, Christian Cueva seems to have captured the attention of the Russians, as they wasted no time in contacting the national player.
