The French forward Antoine Griezmann withdrew from today's training session for France after suffering a blow to his Achilles heel, although his participation in the second match of Russia 2018 next Thursday against Peru is not currently in danger.
The 27-year-old striker trained separately from his teammates, just like Barcelona player Samuel Umtiti and recent Atlético de Madrid signing Thomas Lemar, both with discomfort in recent days.
Griezmann, who until now seemed to have no problems, only ran for a few moments with one of the fitness trainers before leaving the session after stretching.
It is worth remembering that Antoine Griezmann scored the first goal for the French National Team in the World Cup, in their 2-1 victory over Australia.
