President bids farewell to the Peruvian national football team
The President of the Republic, Martín Vizcarra, went to the headquarters of the National Sports Village (La Videna), in San Luis, in the morning hours, to bid farewell to the members of the Peruvian national football team, who will depart for Europe at six o'clock this afternoon to play their last two friendly matches before their much-awaited participation in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The President received from coach Ricardo Gareca, as a gift, an official Peruvian national team shirt with his name on the back. The President did not want to miss the opportunity to extend his best wishes to the members of the Blanquirroja and took a break from his official duties to visit our warriors before they started their trip to Switzerland.
It is worth noting that the Head of State stayed at La Videna for almost half an hour, where fans of the national team also remained outside until their departure to the hotel where the national team is staying.
