Scotland confident of victory against Peru in friendly match
Despite arriving with a young team and several debutants, Scotland's coach, Alex McLeish, is confident of winning tonight's friendly match at 8:00 p.m. against the national team at the National Stadium.
"Maybe we'll have to work a little harder than Peru to get a favorable result," said the experienced Scottish coach to the BBC, very confident that his team will achieve victory against the national team.
"We know that the Peruvian team wants to give their fans a good farewell and we're here to try to spoil the party," added the Scotland coach, who has managed English clubs Aston Villa and Birmingham.
Alex McLeish's team lost to Costa Rica (0 - 1) and defeated Hungary (0 - 1) in the friendly matches played as preparation for the 2018 World Cup. The Europeans arrive with nine debutants to the match against the national team.
