Tigres' presidency changes hands

After eight successful years as president of Tigres, Alejandro Rodríguez decided to end his time leading the feline team, a position that will now be occupied by Miguel Ángel Garza.

"They have been very beautiful years. After eight years of teamwork, and with a team of great quality not only in the sports area but also in the operational part, today I close with great joy and immense gratitude to all those who made it possible for Tigres to return to the spotlight and inspire football for a better future. It was an honor and a privilege to lead this great organization," said Rodríguez in a message to the media.

Miguel Ángel Garza will assume the presidency of Sinergia Deportiva starting on June 1st. Mauricio Doehner, president of the Cemex-Sinergia Deportiva liaison committee, expressed confidence that Miguel will do a good job with the team.

"We are confident that now, under Miguel's leadership, we will maintain the continuity of our sports project."
