The Real Madrid 2018-2019 Squad
The Real Madrid 2018-2019 is not yet fully operational awaiting the final in Kiev, but there are already some movements taking shape within the Merengue team. Zinedine Zidane hinted yesterday that there will be changes in the squad, and Marca now tells us about four players.
None of them have been part of the first team this season, as three are on loan, and another one, Omar Mascarell, will be repurchased from Eintracht Frankfurt. As Marca explains, the idea is to sell him at a higher price, especially after Nico Kovac has shown interest in taking him to Bayern Munich.
The second player mentioned by this newspaper is the one with the most chances of staying in the first team. Raúl De Tomás, a 23-year-old forward, has scored 23 goals in 29 matches with Rayo Vallecano, where he is on loan. Valencia has shown interest, and the Franjirrojos want to extend his loan if they promote to La Liga, but Zinedine Zidane wants him as the fourth forward, taking Borja Mayoral's place.
The other two are Federico Valverde and Martin Odegaard, who will not continue their loan spells at Deportivo de la Coruña and Heerenveen. The Uruguayan and the Norwegian could face new loans for the following season.
