The whole country awaits the final response that will be given by the TAS regarding Paolo Guerrero's ruling.
During the week, the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) estimated that it would come out no later than Monday, May 14, so Ricardo Gareca could register him in the preliminary list of 35 players that he would send to FIFA.
"It is very likely that the ruling will come out before May 14," declared Antonio García Pye during the week on RPP, so fans and the sports press were expecting a final response this Friday in the early hours of the morning.
However, it was a big surprise when some Peruvians living in Switzerland announced that it was a holiday because every May 10th, 'Ascension Thursday' is celebrated, and the next day was a holiday for some cities in the country, so the government had declared the famous "long weekend".
Therefore, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will not be working until Monday, May 14, so the chances of Paolo Guerrero's ruling coming out today are slim. On many occasions, the CAS takes its time to give a final verdict on a case.
