Welcome! WWE Star Jason Jordan To Make His Return
While fans are more focused on the results of Backlash, the first event with both brands in two years, WWE has already got everything covered for the following RAW. And it's because a wrestler who has been absent for four months will be making his long-awaited return.
Away from the ring since January, Jason Jordan has undergone surgery due to a cervical disc injury. Although doctors diagnosed him with a nine-month recovery, the former WWE tag team champion recovered in less time.
For that reason, Jason Jordan is expected to make his return to WWE on the RAW after Backlash. According to PWInsider, the former NXT wrestler is scheduled to appear on the red show in Long Island, New York to inform the company about his condition.
Before his injury, Jason Jordan was having a prominent role on WWE RAW, facing wrestlers like Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns. He even became tag team champion alongside Seth Rollins.
However, his injury prevented him from defending the titles properly. At the Royal Rumble, Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan lost the belts to Cesaro and Sheamus with little involvement from the former NXT wrestler.
