The Peruvian National Team's training begins on May 21

The Peruvian National Team will start their training on May 21 at the Videna, but a group of players will begin earlier in preparation for the friendlies against Scotland, Saudi Arabia, and Sweden. This was announced by manager Antonio García Pye.

"May 21 is the deadline for the players to be present, but if some finish earlier, they will arrive earlier. The smaller group will start working on May 9," he said in an interview with radio Ovation.

Which players from the Peruvian National Team will join the early training? They are the ones who play in the Mexican League and did not qualify for the playoffs. We're talking about Luis Advincula, Pedro Aquino, Pedro Gallese, and Christian Ramos.

Anderson Santa Maria could join the training if Puebla, which depends on winning and other results, does not qualify.

These players will finish their season in Mexico this weekend and will start training on May 9. They will all have a week of vacation before being called to the Videna.

Antonio García Pye also talked about the first call-up of the Peruvian National Team on May 14. "The intention is to focus as much as possible on the group that is going to travel. Obviously, if Gareca has any doubts, he will include them, but I know he will restrict the call-up as much as possible," he said.
