MEZE University celebrated the second edition of its 5K race "For my Family", with the participation of 500 competitors.

At 8:00 a.m., Dr. Roque Javier Márquez Robles, director of the university, gave the start to children and seniors, who followed the route that started at MEZE facilities on Cuautitlán street, then took Ávila Camacho boulevard, Moctezuma boulevard, Diagonal Reforma boulevard, Ealy Ortiz street, Xicoténcatl street, and returned to the starting point.

Competition took place only in the Youth male and female categories for ages 15 to 19, as well as the Open male and female categories for ages 20 and older. There were also children's competitions in the following categories: Mini Beavers (preschool), Beavers 1 (first and second grade), Beavers 2 (third and fourth grade), Beavers 3 (fifth and sixth grade), and Super Beavers (secondary school).

The first runner to cross the finish line was Alexis Hernández Treviño, followed by Francisco Flores Ramírez, and in third place was Paul Trejo López.

In the women's category, the first runner to cross the finish line was Fátima Puentes Samaniego, the second place went to Jessica Flores Ramírez, and third place was Citlali Monserrat Lope Ortega.

During the award ceremony, the winners were recognized and awarded 1,500 pesos to the first place in each category, 1,000 pesos to the second place, and 500 pesos to the third place.

In the children's category, a bicycle was awarded to the first place in each category and gender, and a school kit was given to the second and third places. All participants received a medal.
