Sami Zayn proves he is willing to do anything to become the new WWE world champion

Sami Zayn demonstrated on Tuesday's SmackDown Live that he is willing to do anything to become the new WWE world champion. Even if it means going over his good friend Kevin Owens.

"I'm going to help you win the WWE world title at Fastlane," promised Sami Zayn to Kevin Owens backstage. But the redhead did not fulfill his promise when it was time to step into the ring.

As a preview to Fastlane, Shane McMahon determined that Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens would participate in a five-way match against AJ Styles (WWE world champion), Baron Corbin, and Dolph Ziggler.

When Kevin Owens was about to win, Sami Zayn delivered a brutal kick to his face and then defeated him, surprising all WWE fans.

"Why did I do this, you ask? I am the best WWE has. Since I came to SmackDown, I am the least noticed wrestler. But I am the best and I will prove it this Sunday at Fastlane," Sami Zayn said after his betrayal.
