Alliance Lima started the Copa Libertadores with an important tie against a rival that is always in search of the Copa dream. The 'íntimos' drew 0-0 against Boca Juniors at the Estadio Nacional in a back and forth match where the goalkeepers were protagonists.

Before the exit of Alliance Lima's starting goalkeeper, Leao Butrón, Daniel Prieto entered and did a good job in the 'íntimo' goal.

Daniel Prieto commented that Leao's advice was important for his outstanding performance: "When I entered the field, Leao told me to stay calm and do my job because it would be the match I had been waiting to play, that motivated me a lot," he told RPP.
