The Argentine National Team has a dream: Russia 2018. Jorge Sampaoli's team wants to become world champions and to achieve it, they will play friendly matches to prepare for the tournament. However, on Monday they announced their first player who won't join the team.

Paulo Dybala will not be summoned by the coach. Although it is true that the 'Little Man' has not yet revealed the list of players called up for the friendlies against Italy and Spain on March 23 and 27 respectively, it seems that the Juventus player will not participate.

A muscular injury on January 6th this year in a match between Juventus and Cagliari in Serie A would leave the Cordovan player out of the list. The Argentine coach communicated with him to inform him that he will not be among the selected players for the last friendlies before the World Cup in Russia and that his presence in the World Cup will depend on his performances with the Juventus jersey.

Argentina will compete in Group D alongside Croatia, Iceland, and Nigeria. Messi's team will debut on June 16 against Iceland at the Otkrytiye Arena in Moscow.
