This Sunday, February 25, 2018 (6:15 p.m.) at the Monumental stadium, the first Peruvian football classic of the year will take place, a match belonging to the fourth round of the Summer Tournament, a clash between the teams of Universitario vs Alianza Lima. Through a press conference in the VIP Lounge of the National Stadium, the respective measures were presented for this important match.
Jose Garcia Blanco, Director of Internal Government, Leoncio Flores, Director of Sports Security of the Peruvian Institute of Sport (IPD), the mayor of the Municipality of Ate, Oscar Benavides, the vice president of the Professional Football Sports Association (ADFP), Hector Ordonez, the administrator of Universitario de Deportes, Carlos Moreno, the sports manager of Alianza Lima, Gustavo Zevallos, and the president of IPD, Oscar Fernandez, were present at this ceremony.
It is expected that on match day, police officers will arrive at 1:00 pm and the doors will open to the public at 3:00 pm. According to the local club (Universitario de Deportes), a crowd of 59,000 fans (only from the home team) is expected, making it a high-risk sporting event. There will be five prosecutors, one per grandstand, and one coordinator. There will be two type 2 ambulances and two type 3 ambulances. In addition, 300 security agents from the Municipality of Ate Vitarte will provide support.
Oscar Fernandez, president of IPD, did not hesitate to urge the public to respect the rules of the good fan and to hope that Sunday will be a celebration of sport and football, as it always should be.

Football is a sport that we are passionate about, the one that most excites us, surely, that is why we must respect each other as fans, protect ourselves, and comply with the regulations. No to violence, no to discrimination, and no to racism," stated the president of IPD during this conference.
