The Mexican attacker Javier "Chicharito" Hernández highlighted that he is happy with the current moment he is living in West Ham, where he has regained confidence and is starting to shine again with his performances.
In statements released by the club's official website, Hernández emphatically said, "I am playing with a smile on my face" and he reflects it in his numbers with three goals and one assist in the last four matches.
"I am happy, not only because I am playing my game, but because I can feel that my sharpness is returning. We will try to do the same or even better than in the last match against Watford at home," he pointed out.
The next game for the 'Hammers' team will be against Liverpool, where Javier hopes to have participation to continue proving on the field that they were not mistaken with his signing.
"I have always tried to be positive, and of course, you won't find a player in the world who wants to be on the bench, whether his team is fighting for the title or fighting against relegation, nobody wants to miss the matches, you want to contribute to win," he explained.
Finally, he emphasized that for now, the team is out of the relegation zone and that gives some peace of mind, "we want to reach 40 points as quickly as possible and then aim even higher, our main goal is to stay away from the relegation battle and I want to contribute to that."
