Pope Francis visits Peru

Pope Francis arrives in our country this Thursday with a busy agenda. However, he will also have a series of unofficial activities such as a meeting with Ricardo Gareca, coach of the Peruvian national team.

Although he did not indicate the day of the meeting, he detailed that his family and some leaders of the Peruvian Football Federation will be present at the meeting.

"Gareca will personally receive the greeting at the Archbishop's Palace and Las Palmas," said Gaspar, who highlighted that this year is good for Peru because of the visit of Francis and the presence in Russia 2018.

The leader of the Catholic Church will be in our country from January 18 to 21, with a series of activities in Lima, Puerto Maldonado and Trujillo.
