Paolo Guerrero was at the Videna and took the opportunity to send a message of encouragement to the girls of the Peruvian Women's National Football Team. The team will face Colombia this afternoon in the U20 South American Championship being held in Ecuador.
"I want to send a big hug to all of them, wish them the best of luck, I'm closely following them, I know they have defeated Argentina and I hope they continue on the same path. Keep bringing joy to the Peruvian people," said the forward.

The national team will play their second match against the Colombian team this afternoon. The match is scheduled for 5pm (Peruvian time) at the Olympic Stadium in Riobamba.
In their debut, the Peruvian National Team defeated Argentina 2-0 with goals from Sandra Arévalo and Michelle Paredes, both in the first half. The team coached by Vivian Aires earned their first three points in the competition that grants two spots for the 2018 France World Cup.
Cannot train at Videna
Paolo Guerrero visited Videna but could not train because, due to his FIFA suspension, he is not allowed to work at the place where the Peruvian National Team trains. He is also prohibited from training at his club's headquarters, Flamengo in Brazil.
