The Lobos BUAP defeated by the Gallos Blancos del Querétaro

The Lobos BUAP team suffered their third consecutive defeat - two in the League and one in the Cup - after losing to the Gallos Blancos del Querétaro by two goals to zero, in a match corresponding to Matchday 2 of the Clausura 2018 Tournament, which took place at the Universitario Stadium.

Although the Jauría faithful to their style from the start of the game tried to go on the attack, the Queretana defense closed all the spaces, as they put a double line to contain the onslaught of the university students, in a clear show that they would try to exploit the counterattack or take advantage of the opponent's mistake to inflict damage, which they finally achieved.

Despite this, the home team had some approaches. In the 8th minute, Argentine defender Facundo Erpen shot with his right foot from the center of the area a corner kick that was headed by "Maza" Rodríguez, but the ball went over and to the side of the right post.

After that, there wasn't much to tell, as Rafael Puente's players reached three quarters of the field, but they couldn't accurately define the final pass.
