As soon as he got off the plane, Christian Ramos was approached by the Mexican press. In fact, everyone wanted to get to know the defender who signed with Veracruz and came to make history, just like he did with the Peruvian National Team.
"I come in the best way, with the best disposition, I come with a lot of desire, with a lot of excitement to be part of Tiburones Rojos," Ramos said to the Mexican press.
In that sense, the 'bicolor' defender defined his game and highlighted that one of his best characteristics is being "tough". And of course, 'La Sombra' is one of the pillars that coach Ricardo Gareca has in his team.
"I like to be tough, I think I'm good in aerial plays, I try to play out from the back many times, and support my teammates, support the team to move forward," he added.
On the other hand, the champion with Emelec from Ecuador made it clear that his goal is to make history in Mexican football, just like Raúl Ruidíaz did with Monarcas at some point.
"You have to contribute a lot of sacrifice, a lot of courage because as a defender you have to try to defend well and make your teammates feel more comfortable when attacking. We made history with the national team, that's in Peru, and now we are in Mexico to fight and also try to make history," he concluded.
