The closest pursuers of the Tricolor are United States in 29th place with 819 points and Costa Rica in 38th place with 728 points. Jamaica climbed up to 55th position, improving their previous ranking by twenty-one places.
Spain, Brazil and Chile climbed one position in the FIFA ranking after benefiting from the downfall of the Netherlands. The drop of seven places by the Dutch national team has allowed Spain to move up to 11th position, and for Chile and Brazil to progress to numbers 10 and 5.
Argentina, who reached the top of the world ranking after their loss in the Copa America final against Chile, remains as the solid leader, while Germany loses the second place in favor of Belgium. Colombia remains fourth in a ranking where Uruguay dropped to 18th place.
