Goodbye to Gonzalo Nuñez

We will no longer wake up listening to his "Aliaaaanza" or any of his other popular phrases. Gonzalo Nuñez spent more than 20 years commenting on everything related to Peruvian Football on America Television, but his story at the channel has come to an end.

The popular sports journalist announced through Radio Exitosa that he will leave America leaving behind the best memories, but he will continue on the small screen.

Rinaldo Cruzado renewed with the 'blanquiazules' for two seasons.

"There came a time when I had to decide: either stay on channel 4 or stay here, and I have decided to stay here, I bet on Exitosa. After 20 years, I give a thousand thanks to the channel," said Nuñez.

"And we have been doing double work for eight years, but with Movistar it was no longer possible, it was already complicated. But still, gratitude to America TV, as always. I'm sure I'll be back soon, I'll visit them," he added.

"Luis Tejada was not in the team's plans," said coach Mario Viera.

Gonzalo Nuñez is going for another personal project, but now he has become a significant loss for the Sunday program 'Football in America'.
