A great news came like an early Christmas gift. The lawyer of Paolo Guerrero announced that the sanction was reduced and that he will play the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Pedro Fida spoke with 'Canal N' and gave details of the actions that will continue.
"FIFA has just rectified and reduced the suspension request to six months. So, Paolo is free and will play next year," commented Pedro Fida on "Canal N".
Then, Paolo Guerrero's lawyer continued with his statements. The Brazilian detailed that they will continue fighting and seeking to reduce the sentence completely.
"We will continue fighting until the end to achieve absolution. That can be achieved. He is innocent and it will be proven before the Justice Committee," said Pedro Fida, Paolo Guerrero's lawyer.
Paolo Guerrero has been sanctioned since Friday, November 3, 2017, considering that the suspension is for six months; then the 'Predator' will be able to play from Thursday, May 3, 2018.
