Javier Mascherano

Javier Mascherano is one of the players who has given everything for Barcelona. However, the Argentine and the 'culé' fans feel that a cycle is coming to an end, and with it a history of resounding achievements and victories.

The Argentine recounted passages from his history at Barcelona and opened the door a little more to the possibility of leaving the club, after affirming that he has been losing prominence.

"Some time ago, I commented to the club about the situation that I have to live, which is no one's fault, but reality. One cannot deny it: I have lost the prominence that I had in previous years," said the defender.

Where is Mascherano going?

"One has to seek their happiness, a path in which they feel fulfilled and feel that they are important in what they do," Mascherano commented to TyC Sports.

The Argentine wanted to find an explanation for his lack of minutes: "In the last few months, I have had eleven muscular injuries and I believe it is because of the lack of continuity. This had never happened to me before," he explained.
