Rafa Benítez took 28 players on the recent tour of Australia and China. He now has another addition in Marco Asensio. The new coach will be forced to off-load at least four of these players before submitting the definitive La Liga 2015-16 squad of 25. The favourites to leave the squad in the forthcoming days are: Lucas Silva, Illarramendi, Marco Asensio, Odegaard and Cheryshev. An AS survey carried out on the AS.com website revealed clearly that Denis Cheryshev is the one player supporters don’t want to leave with 81,95% of the poll requesting that he stay at Madrid. This figure contrasts with that of Lucas Silva, where only 22.37% of the voters want him to stay. Odegaard also polled poorly with (30.68%), Illarramendi (33.91%) and finally Marco Asensio (45.50 %).
Liverpool offer 17 million euro for Cheryshev
The Russian international has received a number of offers with the bid from Liverpool for 17 million euro the most attractive for the player.
Cheryshev has looked good during the pre-season tour and Benítez is happy with the player’s attitude in both training sessions and in friendly games.
