Simeone, satisfied after Atlético's friendly against Sagan Tosu

The Argentine coach hopes that his team's performance improves and is hopeful about what Vietto, Correa, Óliver Torres and Ferreira Carrasco can contribute: "The feeling is good, we intend to try a different system than the one we usually play. The team struggled at first but then we had a good first half. We had interesting situations on the wings and in midfield. Then, with Griezmann, Vietto and Correa, we had goal opportunities, but the goal didn't come. With a 1-0 lead, the opportunity is always alive for the opponent. But the team is growing, and we are looking for different alternatives: we played with 4-4-2 and with 4-3-3."

Goal by Koke: "It was a great shot by Koke, we know that when someone hits the ball and it keeps curving, it's very dangerous for the goalkeeper because they cannot measure the trajectory. It will surely be remembered by Koke."

Vietto and Correa's plays: "We know that with Vietto, Correa, Óliver or Carrasco, the team can improve a lot. They have to make us grow a lot. They have to improve tactically, but they will never lose their talent. We need that talent to win games."

Public: "It has been wonderful, they have shown us respect few times that I have been as a player or coach. I appreciate all the support they have shown us in Saga. I hope they had a good show. We knew it was going to be a competitive match, and it was."

Errors: "There are always things to improve in a team, we are at the beginning of the preseason and there is room for improvement. But the feeling is that the team is growing day by day and improving with each game."
