In the recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that McIntyre's loss of the NXT Championship to Andrade 'Cien' Almas at NXT TakeOver: WarGames opens the door to his ascension to the main roster. The respected reporter states that his move would be "relatively soon".
