The Peruvian National Team is about to start the home and away playoff series for the 2018 World Cup against New Zealand. That's why not only the fans of the white and red team will support them from Wellington and from different parts of the world, but also some players will do the same.
One of them is the starting goalkeeper of the Bolivian National Team, Carlos Lampe, who used his Twitter account to send a message of support to the Peruvian team. "Well, now it's time to wear Peru's jersey and support a South American country that hasn't been to a World Cup for a long time," he wrote.
The Bolivian goalkeeper started in the match against the Peruvian National Team in Lima and his team lost 2-0. That was the last game that ended in victory for the Peruvians so far. The matches against the 'All Whites' will be on Friday 10th at 10:15 p.m. (Peruvian date and time); the return leg will be on the 15th at 9:15 p.m. in Lima.
