Today, Doom was officially released on the Switch and there is still no date for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The game was initially not planned for the console, but Bethesda seems very committed to Nintendo.
During the E3 presentation of the Switch, Skyrim was shown as one of the launch games. At the moment, there is no further information about the release, but the company has not forgotten about Nintendo.

They took on the challenge of developing a completely new version of Doom for the Switch. It took a while to arrive, but substantial changes had to be made to the code due to the console's low power. This is demonstrated by the 30 frames per second that the game is limited to.
In all other versions of the game, it runs smoothly at 60 frames per second. They have been forced to lower the graphical quality of the game and even lower the final resolution of the environment textures. Despite all this, the game runs very smoothly and the experience is almost the same as the other versions.
