WWE Releases Emma, Summer Rae, and Darren Young
When it seemed that Emma was starting to have a greater role in RAW, as she had started winning matches, WWE announced her release through their official website. Thus, the Australian is leaving the company after six years.
But Emma's departure is not the only one, as Summer Rae and Darren Young also received a letter of dismissal. Unlike the first superstar, the latter two have not had any recent appearances.
The last time Young wrestled in WWE was on December 26, 2016. That time, he teamed up with Bo Dallas to face The Shining Stars; however, the match ended in a no contest as Braun Strowman entered to attack everyone.
Meanwhile, Summer Rae has not been on any show since last year's draft. With no significant role in the RAW and SmackDown women's roster and her constant injuries, her character gradually declined.
It should be noted that Emma was present at the last TLC event, where she fought against Asuka. Furthermore, she competed against the Japanese wrestler on the following RAW, so her release is still unclear. However, rumors suggest that they will not be the only ones to leave, as names such as Neville and Nia Jax are also being mentioned.
