This is the fifth PPV that WWE holds in the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The last one was Elimination Chamber 2014.
It is the first time that WWE TLC takes place in October instead of December.
With only two title matches, there haven't been so few championships at stake at a PPV since Survivor Series 2016.
