Los Mochis Sugarcane defeated Jalisco Charros 6-5 in the second match at Emilio Ibarra Almada Stadium.

In a tumbling and exciting duel, Los Mochis Cañeros defeated Jalisco Charros 6-5 in the second match of the series held at Emilio Ibarra Almada stadium.

The home team was the first to take the lead. In the second inning, Sebastián Valle hit a double, then Saúl Soto hit another one to drive Valle home; Olmo Rosario did the same with Soto to score the first two runs of the game.

The Los Mochis starter lost control in the fifth inning when he walked Agustín Murillo, Carlos Figueroa, and Edson García, a situation that was taken advantage of by Matt Clark, who hit a Grand Slam over the right field, and thus Jalisco temporarily took the lead.

In the sixth inning, Octavio Acosta, Jalisco's starter, was replaced by Manuel Flores and Jeff Ibarra, who did not allow any runs; in the next inning, Robert Stock worked well by extinguishing the danger with a double play.

But Cañeros did not give up, and with Iván Salas pitching for Jalisco, they took advantage and put him in trouble, scoring two runs against Ernesto Frieri, who came in to relieve in the emergency. But it didn't end there, Saúl Soto scored a double that brought two more runs to the scoreboard.

Jalisco tried at least to tie the game in the last inning. Agustín Murillo hit a double, Alberto Carreón came in as a pinch hitter, and Carlos Figueroa hit to send Murillo home and come within one run. However, the 27th out came against Edson García, and thus the game ended.

Today, the last game of the series will be played at 8:30 pm; Jonathan Castellanos will start for Los Mochis and Adrián Guzmán will do the same for Charros.
