Seventh Round of Activities in the Major League

The seventh round of activities in the Major League has concluded, and the playoff scenario in the National Student Organization of American Football (Onefa) and the National Student Sports Commission of Private Institutions (Conadeip) is slowly taking shape.

On one hand, the Lions of Anahuac University Mexico North are solidifying their position at the top of the Green Group after defeating the White Donkeys of the National Polytechnic Institute 17-10 at the Wilfrido Massieu Stadium.

With this result, Anahuac's team is close to securing their spot in the semifinals. They need to win against the Authentic Tigers, who defeated the UVM Lynxes 44-7. This loss puts the Lomas Verdes team on the brink of elimination.

On the other hand, the White Donkeys' chances to make it to the postseason are now uncertain. They might have to compete for a spot with their brothers, the White Eagles, who also had a difficult weekend by losing 23-21 to the Eagles of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, despite their comeback attempt.

The Pumas Acatlán have consolidated their position in the White Conference after defeating the Friars of the University of Tepeyac 30-18 in a match that had to be played at the Venustiano Carranza Sports Center due to damages suffered by the facilities of the Galeana Brothers Sports Center in the September 19th earthquake.

In a tightly contested match, the Wild Bulls of the Chapingo Autonomous University defeated the Lions of Anahuac University Querétaro 36-33. At the same time, the Roadrunners of the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas, Ciudad Victoria Campus secured home-field advantage in the Red Conference by defeating the Hawks of the University of Veracruz 28-7. The latter team has already secured home-field advantage in the semifinals with the victory of the Morelos Tlahuicas over the UAG Techos.

On the other hand, due to "security reasons" according to a statement, the Sentinels of the Presidential Guard Corps did not travel to Reynosa, Tamaulipas, where they were scheduled to play their Week 7 match against the North Tamaulipas Roadrunners. Although Onefa has not provided an official position, the Sentinels, who depend on this match to determine if they will play in the postseason, could lose the game by default, leaving their record at 2-4, while the UAT Reynosa team would improve to 4-3, thus securing the playoffs.

In the same conference, the BUAP Wolves defeated the Lions of the University of Guadalajara 24-14, pushing the UdeG team to the bottom of the overall standings.

In the actions of the Premier League of Conadeip, the UDLAP Aztecs confirm their status as favorites after a 48-13 victory over the Wild Rams of the Tec Mexico, positioning themselves as the team to beat in this league.

Finally, the ITSON Colts from Ciudad Obregon and the CETYS Zorros from Mexicali are the teams in the Liberty Group that have already secured their spot in the semifinals.
