Peruvian national football team prepares for crucial match against Ecuador

The Peruvian national football team is finalizing their training today to face Ecuador on Tuesday and preparing their trip to Quito tomorrow.

The blanquirroja needs to score three points to continue dreaming of the 2018 Russia World Cup.

The team, led by Ricardo Gareca, continued their work today at the National Sports Village (Videna). They are fine-tuning the starting eleven to face Ecuador in a crucial match for matchday 16.

As known, the Peruvian team remains concentrated in the Swissotel Lima in San Isidro and plans to travel to Quito tomorrow at 17:00 hours. Their arrival in the Ecuadorian capital is scheduled for 19:30 hours, and immediately the entire squad will head to the Sheraton hotel in the city.

It was expected that the national team would visit the Atahualpa Stadium, however, Gareca has ordered that this not be done. They will only work at the hotel gymnasium on Tuesday.

After the match against Ecuador, the players will travel from the stadium to the airport in Quito to return to Lima. Then, on Wednesday, the players who play abroad will return to their respective countries.
