"I am very happy about this call-up. I feel a lot of responsibility to be here, but there is a good group and that makes me feel confident," said Manzaneda.
He also referred to this new experience, and being on the verge of participating in the Qualifiers, a tournament he used to only watch on television. "It is something new for me, but I have the conditions and I am very responsible to take it in the best way," he added.
Many wonder about the position on the field where Ricardo Gareca will place him, if necessary. The player gave some clues, although with little certainty. "Since the team is not complete yet, it is very difficult to know in what position he will use me. But, as you know, in friendly matches I played as a playmaker," he pointed out.
Finally, he showed himself very calm and confident about what he can provide to the national team for these decisive matches against Bolivia and Ecuador. "The coach gives us a lot of confidence in order to show our skills on the field," added Manzaneda.
