Billares Continental de Torreón calls on all players in the region to participate in its "Torneo Patrio Bola 9" which will take place on September 1st at its facilities in Treviño and Morelos, in downtown Torreón, where 25 thousand pesos will be distributed among the winners.
The so-called "Sport of Kings" has a strong presence in the region, where there are excellent players, who are called to defend the homeland against competitors who will come from other cities.
The tournament will be held according to the rules of the Mexican Billiards Federation.
This was announced by Jorge Rodriguez, the head of these billiards, who specified that the tournament starts at 19:00 hours.
He informed that players from all parts of La Laguna, Matamoros, San Pedro, Francisco I. Madero, Torreón, Gómez Palacio, and Lerdo are expected to participate.
But important players are coming to spoil their party, players from Tamaulipas, Monterrey, Veracruz, Zacatecas, and Querétaro.
There is a possibility that the tournament will take on an international aspect with the participation of the World Runner-Up of Bola 9, Ruben Bautista, originally from Mexico City.
Bautista competed in the Bola 9 World Championship in Buenos Aires, Argentina, earlier this month, reaching the grand final, which he lost to the current champion in the discipline, Chilean Nelson Moref.
Also, the magician from Monterrey, Ignacio Chávez, is expected to attend.
