A few weeks before the matches for the Qualifiers, the Peruvian National Team's doctor, Jorge Alva, provided an overview of the players who have some discomfort. The medical professional ruled out, for now, that any player is ruled out for the matches against Bolivia and Ecuador.

"Jeferson Farfán has a muscular edema, this weekend he was not taken into account by his club as a precautionary measure. It's likely that he will be fit for the end-of-the-month matches. This Monday we should already have him with us," said Jorge Alva.

Another name that is a concern is Miguel Araujo, defender for Alianza Lima. "I spoke with Dr. Julio Segura and he told me that the player has a knee sprain. It's likely that he will be close to the limit and recovered for the end-of-the-month match (against Bolivia) with the intention of playing against Ecuador," he detailed.

The recoveries are going well. The doctor mentioned that Raúl Ruidíaz has already played with his team and there is constant phone information with him. Regarding Paolo Guerrero, Alva pointed out that he is evolving favorably.

Finally, the physical condition of Alberto Rodríguez is improving and he would be available for the match against Bolivia. "In the case of Alberto Rodríguez, it was an ankle sprain and in that sense, I don't think he will have any problems," concluded the doctor.
