Felipe Miranda
In six minutes, Felipe Miranda went from disappointment to euphoria. The skier expressed all his joy for winning the gold medal at the Pan American Games and made it clear that it is his greatest achievement.
"This medal is for the country. I don't have the Olympic Games, so this is the maximum for me. This is not my peak, it is a consolidation of years of work. I am still on the rise and I hope to continue giving Chile more joy," Miranda said.
Miranda explained that in six minutes, the history could have changed. "It's not that I would have been left with nothing, but I didn't come for the silver, I came for the gold and I achieved it," he pointed out.
In addition to remembering his family and thanking Team Chile for the achievement, he dedicated his victory to Carlo de Gavardo, just like Bárbara Riveros did.
"I also dedicate it to a great athlete like Carlo De Gavardo, who always showed patience to talk with someone," Miranda said, joking about the landings he made on the geese.
"On the first jump, I landed right on top of a goose, it seems like they liked it," he joked.
