Statement from Argentine coach Ricardo Antonio La Volpe on Juan Carlos Osorio's treatment
Mexican national team players who defended Juan Carlos Osorio after his elimination in the 2017 Gold Cup have been joined by Argentine coach Ricardo Antonio La Volpe, who lamented the "ill treatment" his Colombian colleague received at the Mexico City International Airport.
"I would like to express that soccer is very important, but not so much that someone should be mistreated," said the former America coach on social media.

La Volpe added, "I have no doubt that Mr. Osorio wakes up thinking about how to improve his teams. It would be absurd to think otherwise," warning that "sometimes he will succeed, other times he won't."

Finally, the goalkeeper asked that moments of anger should not be taken further, as in the end it is just a "job like any other".
There will always be moments of anger, but they should stay there, in the moment. This is a job like any other.
