Despite being in Bolivia, Roberto Mosquera doesn't seem to forget his time at Alianza Lima and expressed what would have happened if he had continued leading the blanquiazul team.
"When you don't achieve results, it's most likely that you leave the position. Who knows, if I had stayed at Alianza, maybe we would have become champions. Nobody reads the future or knows what could have happened," said the current coach of Jorge Wilstermann to Radio Ovación.
Roberto Mosquera indicated that it was at Alianza Lima where he had the least time to implement his football ideas. "All of my teams have played well; aesthetics and effectiveness, that's what my style is about. Maybe the club where I have been able to do it the least is Alianza, but they have off-the-field problems to solve, and the management knows it," he said.
On the other hand, he denied and reiterated that his departure from Matute was not due to an altercation with Alianza fans. "I never had problems with the Alianza fans, I never had any kind of interaction with them because I don't rely on them, but on the results," he said.
