The Aragonese center Jesús Vallejo has been presented this Friday as the new player of Real Madrid, in an event held in the honor box of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, with which the white club formalized its incorporation into the first team for the 2017/18 season.
"I would like to thank the club for the trust they placed in me when they signed me and now appointing me as a first team player," said Vallejo, who will wear the number 3 jersey left vacant by Portuguese Pepe.
"Being a Real Madrid player carries an important responsibility and I am going to give everything for this shield and this shirt," he said before shouting "Hala Madrid".
Signed by Real Madrid on July 31, 2015 from Zaragoza, Jesús Vallejo spent a season with the Zaragoza team before playing, on loan, during the last season at Eintracht in Germany.
The leader explained that in recent years the club's bet is to incorporate "young players with great personality and spectacular potential," and assured that Vallejo fits this profile.
"His personality led him, at 18 years old, to be captain of an important team, such as Zaragoza, and he has passed brilliantly through Eintracht in Germany," said the president of Real Madrid.
