Vanessa Zambotti, Mexican Judoka, Announces Retirement
Mexican judoka Vanessa Zambotti has announced her retirement from high-performance sports after a 20-year career that included Olympic Games and international competitions.

"Many people know me, I do not mince words, and after having been privileged to compete all over the world and fight against the best in my category, I have decided to retire from high-performance sports," says @vanessazambotti.
The Chihuahua native participated in four Olympic Games (Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012, and Rio 2016), winning medals at the Pan American Games (gold in Rio 2007, bronze in Guadalajara 2011, and silver in Toronto 2015).
