Kane, Former WWE Star, Announces Candidacy for Mayor of Knox County

The former WWE star, Glen 'Kane' Jacobs, who was a world champion, has officially announced his candidacy for mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, representing the Republican Party in the upcoming elections for this position in the locality.

The wrestler is a political enthusiast in addition to being famous for his liberal ideas, stating that he will dedicate himself full-time to this profession after ending his career in the WWE.

Kane will be the second wrestler to attempt to enter politics in the state of Tennessee; previously, Jerry 'The King' Lawler tried to become mayor of Memphis.
