Peruvian Pilot Nicolas Fuchs Takes Third Place in the 2017 6 Horas Peruanas
After a great competition held this Saturday at the La Chutana racetrack from 4PM, Peruvian pilot Nicolas Fuchs took the 3rd place in the top division Fuerza Libre FIA alongside Enrique Arriola and Ricardo Dasso aboard the powerful Audi R8 LMS. The traditional Peruvian race gathered a large crowd in the south of Lima, where the team representing our country in the division achieved the 3rd place (330 laps) on the podium, which was ultimately led by brothers Xavier and Miguel Villagómez (1st and 2nd place) after a tough fight for the title from start to finish.
"It has been a beautiful, fought, and competitive race that has demanded sustained driving and good physical condition. We fought from the beginning for victory and finally we were able to take the 3rd place. Thanks to Enrique and Ricardo for the opportunity, the team has done a great job and the podium obtained reflects that. I want to congratulate the Villagómez brothers for their victory. I hope to be part of this important Peruvian race again in the future, where we are sure we will have a rematch,"
declared Nicolás after finishing the competition at 10PM.
After being the winner of the previous season's 6 Horas Peruanas, the Fuchs - Arriola - Dasso team arrived as one of the top favorites to compete for the title in the top division. From start to finish, there was a tough competition with the Ecuadorian brothers Villagómez, who finally led the podium, with Nicolás finishing in 3rd place at the helm of his Audi R8 LMS. The Peruvian team completed a total of 330 laps, placing them in the third position of the overall standings. The day started with Ricardo Dasso, followed by Nicolás, Enrique Arriola, and finally Nicolás again, ensuring that our national flag was present at the final awards ceremony.
